Women In Crisis is an organisation formed by a group of women focusing on aiding Black Women especially African Women who have been threatened by domestic violence or other forms of abuse. Women In Crisis is different in the sense that we belong to the same ethnic background to our target clients and share similar cultural values.
Our services bear in mind the cultural values of our clients and how marriage or relationship is/should be perceived and the pressure we face in our modern day society and especially in western world.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
- Are you been controlled or abused by your partner? ( Telling you what to do, wear, how to spend your money. Encouraging you to work longer hours or more than one job. Giving your money to your spouse or partner? )
- Financial Control? (Telling you which account your money should or be paid into, asking you to use your credit cards to pay for things for him.)
- Emotional Control?( Telling you nobody will want you. Calling you "good for nothing". Comparing you with someone else?)
- Verbal Abuse? ( Does he tell you , you are ugly, fat, old and not educated?)
- Physical Abuse? ( Does he punch, kick, hit, throw things at you )
